St. Louis County Council Approves County Executive Dooley’s $1 Million Request to help Ferguson Residents


The St. Louis County Council authorized up to $1 million in emergency funds to be spent to help residents in Ferguson, and the surrounding impacted areas, pay for expenses incurred during two weeks of unrest since the shooting death of Michael Brown. If you need help or know someone that does, please call 2-1-1 or 1-800-427-4626.

St. Louis County partners with St. Louis Civil Rights Enforcement Agency for fair housing conference, Register by August 29


On Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 the City of St. Louis Civil Rights Enforcement Agency in partnership with a multitude of regional partners including the St. Louis County Planning Department and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will present, “Creating Collaborative Opportunities…Meeting the Fair Housing Challenge Conference” to address discrimination against protected classes in the housing arena.

The American Red Cross blood drive finished with 27 collected units on a goal of 23. Because each collected unit can help to save up to 3 lives, St Louis County Employees will help save up to 81 lives.
