Property Owners Can Now View Preliminary Property Values


St. Louis County Assessor Jake Zimmerman today announced that property owners in St. Louis County can view preliminary 2015 real property values for real estate located in St. Louis County. These values are not final and the Assessor’s Office anticipates revisions to many individual property values as the Assessor’s valuation review continues. Values will continue to be adjusted until July 1st, based on continuing review by appraisers, physical visits to thousands of properties, and direct input from property owners.

St. Louis County Takes Steps to Reduce Euthanasia, Increase Pet Adoptions


St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger has announced the formation of a new Animal Care and Control Advisory Board. This diverse group will be tasked with reducing euthanasia, increasing pet adoptions, increasing live release of animals and expanding spay and neuter campaigns in St. Louis County.

Free Wellness Program for Teens and Parents


The Saint Louis County Department of Health is sponsoring a free wellness program for adolescents ages 12-17 and their parents or guardians.  It will run from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. over six consecutive Saturdays from March 7th through April 11th.  Called “Healthy Living for Teens and Their Parents”, the series of six classes will focus on nutrition, self-esteem, and being physically active.
