St. Louis County offers free and discounted adoptions in recognition of “Adopt a Shelter Dog Month”


During the month of October, the adoption fee for all dogs one year old and older will be $20, and the fee will be waived entirely for all pit bull and pit bull mix breeds. Normally, the fee is $40.

St. Louis County Executive Announces Community Policing Grant for Castle Point


St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger today announced the Byrne Criminal Justice Innovation Program has awarded the County a $1 million grant that will be used in the Castle Point neighborhood in St. Louis County. The three-year grant will focus on innovative strategies promoting partnerships between police and the community.

$1 Million Awarded to St. Louis County to Fight Opioid Epidemic


The Saint Louis County Department of Public Health has been awarded two grants from the U.S. Department of Justice to address the opioid epidemic. The two grants, totaling $1,000,000, will be used to fund efforts over a three-year period.
