Why We Do What We Do
It is part of our public health mission. The Department of Health offers comprehensive health care, including prevention and primary care, at health centers across the County.
The health centers are part of your County tax dollar at work. Any County resident is welcome to use them.
Health centers are part of the public health safety net that maintains us as a civil and caring community.

Please note: The John C. Murphy Health Center was closed on October 15, 2010 to make way for the construction of the new Health Campus at that location. All existing medical services offered at the John C. Murphy Health Center have been temporarily relocated to the county's other two health centers (North Central Community Health Center and South County Health Center). Once construction is complete, a brand new health center will open at 6065 Helen Avenue (the current site of the John C. Murphy Health Center).
