North County HHW Open for Reservations!

HHW Permanent Facility Update

The new North County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility, located at 4100 Seven Hills Drive, St. Louis, MO 63033 (Map) (located at the former Saint Louis County Department of Public Health North Animal Shelter) is now open for reservations. The South County HHW facility, opened in May of 2013 and is located on the grounds of the Lemay Metropolitan Sewer District Wastewater Treat Plant (Map). To make a reservation at either facility, please visit

The permanent program replaces collection events and no one-day HHW events are scheduled.

Waste Reduction Grant

The goal of the Waste Reduction Grant Program is to provide funding to implement, expand, increase, and enhance waste reduction efforts in Saint Louis County. The 2016 Grant Round is open. The Deadline for Grant Proposal Submissions is Monday, February 29, 2016.
