The ECC was created for the purpose of administering an emergency communication system including an interoperable county-wide wireless radio communication network providing communications links that permit participating governmental entities to communicate within the geographic boundaries of the county. This includes the radio system, the emergency alert system and the enhancements to the 911 system.
The Emergency Communications Commission is offering a Radio Train-The-Trainer refresher course for Police Departments who wish to participate.
If your agency is interested in attending a Train-The-Trainer course for the radios, please forward the name of one contact person to include a phone number and email address to KHencken@StLouisco.com by January 31, 2017.
Once we determine the level of interest we will schedule classes accordingly.
