St. Louis County Emergency Communications Commission

The ECC was created for the purpose of administering an emergency communication system including an interoperable county-wide wireless radio communication network providing communications links that permit participating governmental entities to communicate within the geographic boundaries of the county. This includes the radio system, the emergency alert system and the enhancements to the 911 system.

ECC Meetings

The St. Louis County Emergency Communications Commission will hold monthly public meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 2:00 PM.  Meetings are held at the Ohlendorf Communications Center, Media Room, 1150 Hanna Road, Ballwin, Missouri 63021.

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Emergency Communications Commission for October 13, 2016 has been cancelled.  The next meeting will be held as regularly scheduled on November 10, 2016 at 2:00PM at the ECC facility. 

Outdoor Warning Sirens

The outdoor warning sirens are tested monthly, weather permitting, on the first Monday of the month at 11:00 AM.  There will be a one-minute tone followed by a voice announcement.
