Police Officer Joseph Craig of the St. Louis County Police Department has joined the instructional staff of the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy effective December 23, 2012. He will be replacing Police Officer Michelle Fourtney who is returning to patrol duties for St. Louis County PD. A brief biography of Officer Craig can be found after this announcement.
Officer Craig will be assuming the role of Continuing Education Instructor and will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning of Academy's more than 650 Continuing Education classes and the semi-annual County In-Service program. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org

Police Officer Joseph Craig grew up in northeast Missouri, and upon graduating from High School in 199, enlisted in the United States Army. Officer Craig served for three years in the Military Police Corp as a Correctional Specialist and achieved the rank of Sergeant prior to end of service in 1998.
Officer Craig earned a Bachelors degree in Administration of Justice in three years through Hannibal LaGrange University and completed an internship with the US Marshals Service in St. Louis, MO. He attended the St Louis County and Municipal Police Academy in 2003 and has worked for the St. Louis County Police Department since then. Officer Craig has served the department in the Seventh Precinct and has additionally served as a Field Training Instructor while in the Division of Patrol.
