2013 CMPA Zombie Run Announced

The St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy Basic Recruit Class 180 is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk at Queeny Park on November 1st. Registration begins at 6:00 pm and the event begins at 7:00 pm. The park is located at 550 Weidman Road, St. Louis, MO 63011.

There is an early bird registration fee of $30 for registrations received and paid before October 18th. On or after October 18th, the registration fee goes to the full price of $35.00. All proceeds will go to Backstoppers to support the families of fallen police officers and firefighters.

Registrants must be 12 years of age or older. Every participant will receive a Zombie Run t-shirt and a flashlight. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. There will be prizes awarded for the best ones.

The event is limited to the first 200 registrants. Emails should be sent to Sgt. Kelling at to reserve a spot. This must be followed by payment and a completed registration form. Checks, made out to Backstoppers, and completed registration forms should be sent to:

  CALEA Accreditation
On December 6, 2008, the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy was granted Accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Public Safety Training Academies.
