Citizens Academy Home Page

Our Purpose

The Citizen Police Academy was developed to promote understanding and cooperation between the Department and the people it serves. We are proud to offer the Citizens Academy to local residents and business employees throughout our community. We encourage our citizens to become actively involved in their neighborhood by providing information that can form a partnership with local law enforcement to aid in solving community problems.

  • To provide greater awareness and understanding between our department and the citizens we serve.
  • To inform participants with an understanding of the operations and resources of St. Louis County Police.
  • To provide insight into the divisions and functions of the department.
