Charges Issued in North County Shooting Death

On Monday, June 3, 2013, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued warrants on Jeryl A. Daniels, 29 years of age, of the 5900 block of Dressell in St. Louis, Missouri 63111, for one count of Murder in the First Degree, two counts of Assault in the First Degree and three counts of Armed Criminal Action. A $500,000 cash only bond has been issued. A photo of Daniels is attached.

Warrants were issued after officers from the St. Louis County Police Department North County Precinct responded for a shooting in the 9700 block of Ventura at approximately 2:15 PM on June 1, 2013. Officers found a deceased 16 year old victim, Ryan Thurman, and two other subjects, 15 and 16 years of age, wounded from gunshot wounds at the scene. Both of the wounded victims are in stable condition in local hospitals. Daniels was arrested on Sunday, June 2, 2013 by investigating detectives in a St. Louis City grocery store.
