St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch Announces Promotion

On Tuesday, July 30, 2013, St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch announced the promotion of Detective Anthony Cavaletti to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Cavaletti is a 13-year police veteran with the St. Louis County Police Department and was most recently assigned as a detective in the Child Abuse Unit of the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons. He has also served as a detective in the Family Crime Unit, an instructor at the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy and an officer in the South County Precinct.

Sergeant Cavaletti has a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree from Webster University. He has received eight awards, commendations and letters of appreciation.
