For Immediate Release

15-January-2014

On Wednesday, January 15, 2014, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued warrants on John T. Trevillion, 31 years of age, of the 3900 block of Beachwood in St. Louis, Missouri 63121, for one count of Murder in the First Degree, one count of Assault in the First Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal Action. Trevillion is being held without bond and has a prior murder conviction. A photo of Trevillion is attached.

Warrants were issued after officers from the Northwoods Police Department responded for a shooting in the 4700 block of Fletcher at approximately 6:15 PM on January 6, 2014. Officers found a deceased 25 year old victim, Brian Jordan, at the scene. Another victim, also 25 years of age, was injured from gunshot wounds but left the scene before police arrived. That subject was later treated at a local hospital for his injuries and released. Trevillion was able to flee the scene before police arrived. The Northwoods Police Department requested the St. Louis County Police Department take command of the investigation.

An investigation by detectives from the St. Louis County Division of Criminal Investigation led to Trevillion’s arrest on January 14, 2014, at a home in north St. Louis City.
