Pine Lawn Man Charged With Murder in Central County Precinct

On Thursday, February 2, 2012, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued warrants on Phillip L. Buchanan, 22 years of age, of the 2500 block of Arden Avenue, Pine Lawn, Missouri, 63121, for one count of Murder in the Second Degree and one count of Armed Criminal Action. Buchanan is currently being held on a $250,000 bond. A photo of Buchanan is attached and can be viewed online.

On Sunday, November 21, 2010, at approximately 9:30 PM, St. Louis County Police responded to a call for a shooting at 7817 St. Charles Rock Road. St. Louis County Police discovered that a victim, later identified as Rodney Williams, DOB 8/7/1991, was shot in his home. St. Louis County Police Detectives from the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons responded to conduct the investigation.

Rodney Williams was transported to a nearby hospital but died hours later due to being shot. Detectives developed information and evidence that was presented to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office and the above warrants were issued on Phillip Buchanan.
