SOUTH COUNTY

Camp Kennedy at Kennedy Recreation Complex                      
Ages: 5-12
Cost: $60/camper
Days/Times: Monday - Friday / 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Children are grouped by age and enjoy crafts, games, nature programs, a special event cookout, sports and supervised recreational swim at Kennedy Recreation Complex. Camp is located at Suson Park on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Camp is located outside of the Kennedy Recreation Complex on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bring a non-perishable lunch, snack, and beverage daily. For an additional cost swimming lessons and Sunrise/Late Day Club memberships may be purchased. Call 314-615-5572. Martial Arts Camp (by Kelly’s Martial Arts)
Ages: 7 - 12

Martial Arts Camp will be SO MUCH MORE than just martial arts!  Staff from Kelly’s Martial Arts will guide kids (ages 7-12) through all sorts of fun activities like swimming, crafts, team building and (of course) martial arts!  Camp will also feature a weekly field trip to Six Flags (each child must purchase a day pass or season pass separately).  Call 314-849-7705 to register or for more info about payment plans, day-by-day registration and family discounts!

Magic Camp

Make a coin someone is holding disappear or make a person appear from nowhere! You’ll get your own magic box and new tricks to show friends and family and you’ll learn comedy magic skits, balloon twisting, magic puzzles and lots more. Animation Camp (by Youth Tech Inc.)
Ages: 10-17
Cost: $150/child
Location: The Pavilion at Lemay
Dates / Times: Monday, June 13 - Thursday, June 16 / 9 a.m. - Noon
In this class students will learn the basics of animation and digital design. Students who enjoy going to various sites to see fun interactive animations will love this course. This class will utilize Adobe’s award winning animation software in Adobe Flash. Video Game Design Camp (by Youth Tech Inc.)

Want to create video games? This is an introductory course for younger students who want to learn to build simple video games. Robotics
Ages: 10-17
Cost: $150/camper

Monday, June 20 - Thursday, June 23 / 1-4 p.m.
The course offers hands-on opportunities to build and program robots. Working in small teams, students will design robotics systems to compete in fun real-world activities. Each day will bring a new challenge, and your team's robot will have to morph to better adapt and compete. Students will compete in the battle bots competition at the end of the camp to prove their robot is the best. British Soccer Camp (by Challenger Sports)

Challenger Sports' British Soccer Camp is the most popular soccer camp in the country based upon one of the most innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the US and Canada. Our experienced staff study the game at all levels and we have identified the key techniques and skills that your players need to work on and master to reach their true potential. With programs for each age, the curriculum includes a variety of foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, freestyle soccer, small-sided games, coached scrimmages, and a mini tournament play.

Walk on stilts! Ride a unicycle! These are just a couple tricks you’ll learn in this Abra-Kid-Abra camp. You’ll learn juggling, plate spinning, clown acts, animal balloons, and much more! Plus we are introducing some brand new juggling and balancing skills this year. Camp Queeny at Queeny Park

(Early Bird Care available 7am-9am for the above dates for $20 per week and Late Bird Care available 3-6pm for $30 per week) (For the 4 day July 5-8 week, Early Bird care will be $16 per week and Late Bird Care $24 per week)

Outdoor Skills Camp 
Ages: 12-16

Attention outdoor enthusiasts!  If you ever wanted to learn to throw a tomahawk or shoot a bow and arrow, this is your chance.  Spend a week learning new outdoor skills.  This camp, hosted by St. Louis County Park staff, will teach outdoor skills in a variety of settings. Our unique camp will travel to several different parks, giving campers opportunities to visit a variety of areas while testing the waters on new skills. Learning the correct way to control a canoe, starting a fire with flint and steel, and hiking to a cave are just some of the experiences you will enjoy.   Knowledgeable staff and close supervision will allow the adventuresome camper to spread their wings in a safe and controlled environment.  Attempting new skills will be challenging as well as fun.  Age restrictions apply.  Space is limited, so sign up early.  For questions or to make your reservation, call 314- 615-8472. 


Carousel Camp

Youth Fishing Day Camps               
Ages: 8-15

St. Louis’ only “fishing” day camp is a big hit with kids! St. Louis County Park Rangers conduct the camp where children spend the week learning to be good anglers. Each day the group will venture out to a new fishing location. Meet in front of the Recreation Complex off of the Weidman Road entrance. Meet promptly at 8:30 a.m. Each child should bring their own non-perishable lunch and two water bottles. Fishing equipment will be provided. Advance registration is required. Mad Science-Junior Rocket Scientist
Grades: K-5th
Cost: $245/child
Location: St. Louis Carousel at Faust Park
Monday, July 25 - Friday, July 29 / 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
This action packed week will focus solely on rockets and the physics of rocket flight.  After learning the model rocket safety code, campers will build different types of rockets and participate in rocket launches during the week-long program. To register call (314)991-8000.
