Critter Crawl (Ages 2-10)

Spring is here and friendly “critters” are out and about at Clydesdale Park! Spend a fun morning searching for 10,000 plastic “critters” along the walking trail. Some of the “critters” may be redeemed for prizes after the hunt. Then enjoy family entertainment and information booths about nature and healthy family trail activities. Please make sure participants are able to cover about one mile on a groomed trail.

Co-sponsored by St. Louis County Parks and the Great Rivers Greenway.

$5/child (Ages 2-10) $1/adult

Advance registration armbands required.


Storytelling Festival

Puppets Galore (All Ages)

Join the Puppet Guild of Greater St. Louis for a fun morning that will include a puppet show, carousel ride and puppet making workshops.  Tom Bonham Puppet Productions will present a puppet show entitled “Puppet Potpourri”. After the puppet show, take a twirl on the carousel and then visit the different puppet making workshops and make puppets to take home! Tickets are available April 1 at the St. Louis Carousel Gift Shop or over the phone by calling 314-615-8383.

Faust Olden Days of Summer

$8/child or $10/child day of program. Adults FREE with paid child.

Relive a summer in the past at Faust Park. Day camps and families are invited to this new program designed to show how families spent their summers in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.  Activities will include unlimited carousel rides on the St. Louis Carousel, blacksmithing demonstrations, rope making demonstrations, candle dipping, corn husk doll making, face painting, petting zoo and pony rides. The historic village including the Alt school house will be open.

Mad Science brings their fun and educational programs to the St. Louis Carousel for 8 weeks.  These programs are designed for children ages 3-5yrs old and are approximately 30-45 minutes in length. The children participate in experiments and demonstrations and receive a take home item at the end of the program. Child and adult also get a ride on the carousel after the program. Preschool Pumpkins

Dress up in your Halloween costume (optional) and decorate pumpkins to take home.

Parents must stay and assist their child with the project.

Ages 3-5yrs. Advance registration required.

$10/class includes supplies and Carousel Ride for child and parent after program.

Nightmare on Olive Street

Adults 21yrs and older only.

Join us for a nightmarish time at Faust Park. The St. Louis Carousel and Historic Village will be transformed into your worst nightmare. Take a carousel ride with some undead riders, attend a funeral and listen to ghost stories that will give you nightmares. Come in costume for a chance to win prizes in our Costume Contest. Candy Cane Hunt at the Carousel

Candy canes have been hidden in Faust Park by the Carousel Reindeer for children to find.  Some candy canes will have special prizes attached!  Pre registration is required.  Tickets go on sale October 1.  Tickets can be purchased at the St. Louis Carousel Gift Shop or call 314-615-8383. Tickets are $6.00 per person ages 2-10yrs.


Winter Break Puppet Shows
