Honeysuckle Removal
in your St. Louis County Parks
SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT!
REMOVE BUSH HONEYSUCKLE…A MENACE TO OUR FORESTS
Corporate & School Groups make a difference.
(Ages 16+) Your school or corporate group of volunteers can help save the environment by ridding our parks of invasive honeysuckle. Honeysuckle removal projects and service learning field trips can be scheduled Tuesday through Friday at parks throughout the County. Call 314-615-8865 to arrange your workday.
BUSH HONEYSUCKLE is destroying the under story of our forests! The honeysuckle starts turning green much earlier than other foliage. By summer, when saplings and other native flower sprout, the honeysuckle has already largely shaded the forest under story, causing all seedlings to die. We need to get rid of this aggressive foreign invader - be a part of the solution by joining this volunteer initiative to remove honeysuckle from our parks!
