The CMPA POST certifies the PLS Classes for Police and Telecommunicators throughout the State of Missouri.

Please note that some continuing education courses require prerequisite courses to be taken, this can be determined by reviewing the program listings when they are published or by checking with the Academy staff.

Flyers will be posted to this site at approximately the same time as they are mailed and faxed to member departments. Classes with no button are scheduled but do not yet have a flyer.

Police and Fire personnel are welcomed to use the indoor/outdoor track and/or the fitness center during business hours. Effective January 1, 2004, the hours are 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. These hours are in effect unless the gym or fitness center is being used for C.M.P.A. or Fire Academy instruction.

Since the gymnasium and fitness center are occasionally used for other activities, or have to be closed because of unforeseen circumstances, it is recommended to call ahead to make sure the facilities are available. Phone (314) 889-8600 Monday - Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
