Lt. Colonel Terry Roberds was born and raised in St. Louis and currently resides in the Oakville area of South St. Louis County with his wife Janell. Major Roberds has two children, Valerie (Yanko) and Katharine and one grandchild. He was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in 2009 and is currently the Commanding Officer of the Division of Criminal Investigation. He is responsible for the overall operation of all investigative units of the St. Louis County Police Department, including Crime Scene Investigations, Drug Enforcement, Crimes Against Persons and Crimes Against Property, Computer and Financial Fraud, Family Crimes and the Crime Laboratory.

Lt. Colonel Roberds serves in a number of different capacities for the County Police. He is a member of the Computer Services Steering Committee, the Safe School Committee and Co-Chairs the KYDS (Keeping Young Drivers Safe) Council. In addition, Lt. Colonel Roberds serves on the boards of the Lemay Chamber of Commerce, South County Chamber of Commerce, Lemay Charting For Change and the Lemay Family and Child Center. He is the immediate Past President of the FBI National Academy Associates Eastern District of Missouri, a member of the Oakville Elks and the Knights of Columbus, Rosati Council.

Lt. Colonel Roberds began his career with the St. Louis County Police on June 6, 1977 when he was hired as a Probationary Police Officer in the South County Precinct. In addition to the Patrol Division, he has served in the Bureau of Tactical Operations and the Division of Criminal Investigation. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1989, Lieutenant in 1993, Captain in 1997 and Major in 2005. He served for four years as the Commanding Officer for the Division of Patrol before moving to his current assignment.

Lt. Colonel Roberds has an Associates Degree in the Administration Of Justice and is a graduate of the 190th session of the FBI National Academy. During his career he has received over 80 awards, commendations and letters of appreciation. These include three commendations from the Chief of Police, awards of recognition from the City of Fenton, Project Lemay, the Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Mehlville Optimist Club. In 2000, he received the Outstanding Community Service Award from the South County Chamber of Commerce as well as being named Citizen Of The Year for 2003. He enjoys playing golf, camping and weight training in addition to spending time with his family during his off-duty time. He and his wife attend Queen of All Saints Church where they are active in the Variety Guild.

Captain Thomas M. Jackson was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and attended high school in Florissant, Missouri. He and his wife Patricia have been married since 1981 and have three children. Captain Jackson is currently assigned as the Commander of the Bureau of Drug Enforcement and the Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force. In this position, he manages detectives from St. Louis County and sixteen other agencies who make up the largest drug Task Force in the Midwest. This unit was named Outstanding Drug Task Force of 2003 for the Midwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) by the White House Office of Drug Policy.

Captain Jackson started his career with the Department on June 3, 1979 as a police officer in the West County Precinct. He worked as a Detective and analyst in the Bureau of Drug Enforcement from 1981 to 1985. Captain Jackson served in the Tactical Operations Unit for five years as a police officer and three years as a Sergeant. His assignments in Tactical Operations included hostage negotiator, assault team point officer and helicopter pilot. Captain Jackson served as a Sergeant in the North County precinct and as a Lieutenant in the Affton Southwest precinct. He was also a Detective-Sergeant in the Burglary unit.

Captain Jackson graduated from Saint Louis Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Life Science and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Management from Tarkio College. He is also a graduate of the 221st session of the FBI National Academy. Captain Jackson has received numerous awards, commendations and letters of appreciation including two Chief's commendations and the department's Meritorious Service Citation. In 1991, he was awarded the Medal of Valor for heroism. Captain Jackson was named 2003 Outstanding Task Force Commander for the Midwest HIDTA by the White House Office of Drug Policy.

Captain Jackson is a past legislative vice-president of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and has served as their State Leader for legislative affairs. He also serves as a commissioner for the St. Louis County Municipal Parks Grant Commission. Prior to joining the Department, Captain Jackson was a paramedic supervisor with the Christian Hospital Life Support Unit program. He also worked as an EMT for the Howard County Ambulance service from 1974 to 1976 while attending Central Methodist College. He is a certified helicopter flight instructor and holds a multi-engine airplane pilot's license with instrument rating.

Lieutenant Vollmar is a lifelong resident of the St. Louis area and currently resides in St. Charles with his wife, Elaine. They have two adult children, Jennifer and Mark. Lieutenant Vollmar is assigned to the Bureau of Drug Enforcement where he is the Deputy Commander. In this position, he has the responsibility of managing the investigations conducted by the St. Louis County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force.

Lieutenant Vollmar began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in 1978 and, after attending the Greater St. Louis Police Academy, was assigned as a patrol officer in the North County Precinct. During his career, he has served as a supervisor in the North County, West County, Affton Southwest and South County Precincts as well as the Bureau of Drug Enforcement. As a detective, Lieutenant Vollmar held assignments in the DEA Task Force, the Street Enforcement Team and the Tactical Operations Reserve Unit.

Lieutenant Vollmar was awarded the Medal of Valor in 1998 and has twice been awarded with the Department's Distinguished Service Citation for Valor, first in 1978 and again in 1997.

Lieutenant Vollmar attended the University of Missouri - St. Louis. He is a member of the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association and the Missouri Narcotic Officers Association.

Lieutenant Gary Berra was born in the city of St. Louis and is proud to have been raised in the rich tradition of the south city parochial school system. He currently resides with his family in West County, after spending a number of years as a South St. Louis County resident.

Lieutenant Berra is currently assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigation as the Commander of the Bureau of Crimes Against Property. Under his command are the following units, Bomb and Arson, Burglary, Auto Theft and General Assignment. He was previously assigned to the Office of the Chief of Police and served as the Commander of the Municipal Services Unit.

Lieutenant Berra began his career in law enforcement in 1979 as a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Cadet. He later attended the Greater St. Louis Police Academy and he received a bachelor's degree in business from Webster University. He spent a total of eight years as a Crimes Against Persons Detective, handling violent crime investigations. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1996, and worked his initial supervisory position in the Affton Southwest Precinct. He then served as a Detective Sergeant in the Division of Criminal Investigation for a number of years, being promoted to Lieutenant in 1999. Lieutenant Berra was a uniformed Watch Commander in the City of Wildwood and South County Precincts. Throughout his career, Lieutenant Berra has had the opportunity to work as a uniformed officer in all of the geographical precinct locations - North, South and West.

Lieutenant Berra has received the Department's Meritorious Service Citation, four Chief's Commendations, four Awards of Excellence, and numerous letters of appreciation from citizens. His calling to police work has been very rewarding, and he has dedicated his life to a career of Law Enforcement.

Lieutenant Berra is active in his parish, coaches his children in several sports, and is an outdoor and fitness enthusiast. He has also competed in several Missouri Police Olympic competitions representing his department.

Sergeant Gerald Shepard has over 20 years of law enforcement experience. Since he has been with the St. Louis County Police Department, he has served in the Central County Pct, the North County Pct, and the Bureau of Drug Enforcement. He is currently assigned as a supervisor of the Bomb and Arson Unit.

Sergeant Shepard served in the United States Army and National Guard for 30 years. He served two tours of duty in Iraq and retired in 2005, at the rank of Sergeant First Class.

Sergeant Thomas Naughton began his career with the St. Louis County Police in 1996 when he was hired as a police officer and assigned to the West County Precinct. He served as a patrol officer with in the precinct for two years before becoming a field training instructor for newly appointed officers. He served as a field training instructor until 1999 when he was reassigned to the precinct as a Neighborhood Policing Officer (NPO). Sergeant Naughton continued his service as an NPO for the Central County Precinct when it formed in 2003. In March of 2005, he was transferred the Division of Patrol and Special Operations office where he served as the Administrative Aide. In December of 2006, he was promoted by Chief Jerry Lee to the rank of Sergeant and transferred to the North County Precinct where he served as a precinct supervisor. Sergeant Naughton is currently assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigations as the Supervisor of the Auto Crime Unit.

During his service with the County Police Department, Sergeant Naughton served as a member of the Department's Neighborhood Policing Committee, Explorer Post Advisor, Precinct Gang Officer, member of the Mid-West Gang Investigators Association, precinct Neighborhood Watch and National Night Out Coordinator, and was a committee member of the St. Louis County Problem Properties Unit. Sergeant Naughton also worked as the precinct liaison for the North/Central Chapter of the St. Louis County Police Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. Sergeant Naughton continues his dedication to the community by participating as an active committee member and Secretary of the St Louis County Family Courts Juvenile Conference Committee for the Hazelwood School District area.

During his career he has received over 50 letters of appreciation and 8 Department awards.

Sergeant Lasater is a lifelong resident of the St. Louis area and currently resides in St. Louis County with his wife and son. Sergeant Lasater is assigned to the Burglary Unit in the Division of Criminal Investigations.

Sergeant Lasater began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in 1978. After attending the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Academy, he was assigned as a patrol officer in the North County Precinct, and later transferred to the South County Precinct. In 1988 he was transferred to the Division of Criminal Investigation and assigned to the General Assignment Unit as a detective. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1995, and has served as a supervisor in the North County Precinct and the Affton Southwest Precinct. He is the recipient of two Chiefs Commendations, numerous letters of appreciation, and several Awards of Excellence.

Sergeant Lasater graduated from Fontbonne University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also a former member of the St. Louis area Major Case Squad.

Sergeant Kevin Cavanaugh has served as the supervisor of the Computer and Financial Fraud Unit, Division of Crimes Against Property, since 2001. His primary responsibility is directing investigations relating to property theft, financial fraud, hate crimes and computer related crimes including the operation of the departments forensic computer lab.

Sergeant Cavanaugh began his career in 1983 as a patrol officer assigned to the West County Precinct. In 1986 he was transferred to the North County Precinct as a patrol officer. In 1993 he was transferred to the Division of Criminal Investigation and assigned to the General Assignment Unit as a detective. While assigned to the General Assignment Unit, he investigated property theft, financial fraud and bad checks. He is also a former member of the St. Louis area Major Case Squad and a member of the United States Attorney - Hate Crimes Task Force. In 2001 he was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to his current duties.

Sergeant Cavanaugh is also the President of the St. Louis County Police Department Welfare Association, The Welfare Association supports employees of the police department in times of need with financial aid.

Sergeant Cavanaugh has completed college courses towards an associates degree at Florissant Valley Community College. He is a life-long resident of St. Louis area.

Lieutenant Tom Larkin was commissioned as a Police Officer in September of 1977. He has served in the Patrol Division in the Affton Precinct, the old West County (5th) Precinct and the Fenton Precinct. He has also been assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigation in the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons as a Detective. Lieutenant Larkin was promoted to the rank Sergeant in 1997 and was assigned to the Patrol Division's Fenton Precinct until his transfer back to the Bureau of Crimes Against persons in 2000. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2004 and was assigned to the South County Precinct. In December of 2006 Lt. Larkin was transferred back to the Division of Criminal Investigation as the Commander of the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons. There, he oversees the Robbery/Homicide/Sexual Assault Unit, the Child Abuse Unit and the Domestic Violence Unit.

Lieutenant Larkin was raised in South St. Louis. He graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School and then attended Meramec Community College. He has been married to his wife since 1980 and they have three children and one grandson.

Lieutenant Larkin has received the Meritorious Service Citation as well as several Awards of Excellence during his career.

Sergeant Maria I. Gomez is currently assigned to the Bureau of Crimes against Persons. She is responsible for supervising the following types of investigations: sexual assault, homicide, robbery, assault, and kidnapping. She was previously assigned for 13 years to the Family Crime Unit, also within the Bureau of Crimes against Persons.

Sgt. Gomez joined The St. Louis County Police Department in December of 1981. After her graduation from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy, she was assigned to the Division of Patrol. In 1985 she was assigned to the Bureau of Special Investigations until her promotion to sergeant in June of 1987. She was then transferred to Patrol as a field supervisor until May of 1992, when she returned to the Division of Criminal Investigation. Sgt. Gomez then supervised the Burglary Unit until her reassignment to the Child Abuse Unit/ Missing Persons in December of 1993. In 1995 the unit was expanded to include Domestic Violence and was renamed the "Family Crime Unit". She has remained in the Bureau of Crimes against Persons as a supervisor since then.

Sgt. Gomez earned her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Louis University in 1986. She continues to instruct and organize classes for the St Louis County and Municipal Police Academy, both for police officers and recruits.

Sgt. Gomez has been a panelist on the St. Louis County Child Fatality Panel since December of 1993 to present.

Sergeant Gary Goro was born in 1957 in Chicago Illinois, and is one of five children. He was raised in the southern part of the state in the town of Carbondale. He graduated from Carbondale Community High School in 1975, and then went on to attend Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. In 1980, Sergeant Goro graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice, and a minor concentration in Business Administration.

Right after graduation, a close friend, a professor at Southern Illinois University currently on sabbatical in Katmandu Nepal, contacted Sergeant Goro with an unusual proposition. That's right, Nepal, that little country just below China in Asia. Come to Nepal he said, and help me trek radios into the Himalayan Mountains so that we can help the Peace Corps volunteers teach children to read and write. "No way are you doing that," said his brother. Thirty days later he was standing in Katmandu Nepal, and began the adventure of a lifetime. An adventure that taught him to appreciate being a citizen of the United States of America and with it all the freedoms in this country we enjoy.

In the spring of 1981, Sergeant Goro was hired by the St Louis County Police Department, and attended the Greater St Louis Police Academy. After graduation he was assigned to the South County Precinct as a Probationary Patrol Officer. Since then Sergeant Goro has spent time in the Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Division of Patrol assigned to the: Affton Southwest, South County, and Wildwood Precincts. In 1997, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant, and is currently assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigation. Sergeant Goro has received a Meritorious Service Citation, Chiefs Commendation, numerous Awards of Excellence, and over 90 letters of appreciation.

Sergeant Longworth is a native of St. Louis who began his law enforcement career in 1977 as a Police Cadet with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. In 1980, he graduated from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy and was assigned as a patrol officer in North St. Louis City. During his tenure with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Sergeant Longworth served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Patrol Supervisor, Detective Supervisor and Special Operations Supervisor.

On December 5, 1999, Sergeant Longworth retired from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, and the following day continued his law enforcement career with the St. Louis County Police Department.

Sergeant Longworth was assigned to the South County Precinct until February 2001. He was then transferred to the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons. In December 2004, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and served as a Patrol Supervisor in the Central and West County Precincts. During this time, Sergeant Longworth also served as a Deputy Commander for the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis.

Sergeant Longworth is currently assigned as a supervisor in the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons - Robbery / Homicide Unit. During his tenure with the St. Louis County Police Department, he has received several letters of appreciation and two Chief's Letters of Commendation.

Sergeant Gary Guinn began his law enforcement career in 1971 as a police cadet with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. In 1973, he graduated from the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Police Academy and was assigned to patrol duties in the North St. Louis area. In 1982, he was transferred to the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons, where he served as a detective until his retirement from the department in 1994.

In 1994, Sergeant Gary Guinn became a Corporate Security Investigator with the Public Safety Department of St. Louis University, where he remained until 1996, when he became a police officer with the St. Louis County Police Department. Sergeant Guinn was assigned to the South County Precinct and in 1997 he was transferred to the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons, where he remained until his promotion to Sergeant in 2001.

Since his promotion to Sergeant, he has served as a supervisor in the Division of Patrol, in the South County Precinct, the Bureau of Drug Enforcement, Special Investigations Unit and the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force. His current assignment is the supervisor of the Family Crime Unit in the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.

Sergeant Guinn received an Associates Degree from Forest Park Community College and later attended Webster University. He has served as the Chairman of the St. Louis Child Fatality Review Project and as a member of the Foster Care Coalition with the Missouri Division of Family Services.

Captain Jack Webb was born and raised in St. Louis County and currently resides in West St. Louis County. Captain Webb is currently assigned as the Commander of the Bureau of Criminal Identification for the St. Louis County Police Department. In this position, he plans, organizes, and directs the operations of the Bureau, which comprises the Police Crime Laboratory, and the Fingerprint, Property Control, Crime Scene and the Prisoner Conveyance Units. Captain Webb develops and implements operational policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective use of the various criminal identification services and conformance with broader departmental goals and objectives. Further, he collaborates with Bureau personnel to continually review and update performance standards, sets achievement goals, coordinates specialized member training and development, and seeks to recruit qualified personnel.

Prior to this assignment, Captain Webb served as the Commander of the Fenton City Precinct and served in a previous assignment as Commander of the Bureau of Criminal Indentification.

Captain Webb serves in a number of different capacities for the County Police including memberships on the Department's Weapons Systems and Computer Steering Committees. He is also an alternate member for both the Probationary Police Officer Review Committee, and the Chief's Applicant Review Board.

Lieutenant Tom Grimm started his law enforcement career in 1972 with the U. S. Army Military Police serving in various units around the world as a patrol officer. In 1975 he attended the Greater St. Louis Police Academy for the Ladue Police Department in St. Louis County, where he served for five years.

In 1981, Lieutenant Grimm was hired by the St. Louis County Police and served in the South County Precinct. In 1986, he was transferred to the Burglary Unit where he served until 1996 when he was promoted to Sergeant. He then worked as a watch supervisor in the South County Precinct until 2000 when he was reassigned as the Supervisor of the Burglary Unit in the Division of Criminal Investigation. In 2001 he was promoted to Lieutenant and went to the Affton Southwest Precinct as a watch commander. In 2004, Lieutenant Grimm was transferred back to the Division of Criminal Investigation as the Commander of the Crimes Against Property Bureau. In 2009, he was reassigned to his current position as the Commander of the Police Crime Laboratory.

He has served for six years on the Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad as an investigator and later as a supervisor. Lieutenant Grimm holds an associates degree in criminal justice and currently resides in Imperial Missouri with his wife and three sons, one of whom is an officer with the St. Louis County Police. Lieutenant Grimm has 21 Awards of Excellence and 26 letters of commendation and appreciation.

Sergeant Schillinger is a lifelong St. Louis County resident currently residing in the Fenton area with his wife April and their three daughters. In March 2009, Sergeant Schillinger was assigned to the St. Louis County Police Crime Laboratory as the Lab Supervisor. In this position, his responsibilities are to organize and direct the operations of all sections of the laboratory which include Firearms and Tool Marks, Chemistry, Photography and DNA/Biology.

After graduating from Meramec Community College, Sergeant Schillinger began his career with the St. Louis County Department in 1978. During his career, he has been assigned as a patrol officer in the Central County and South County Precincts. While assigned to the South County Precinct, Sergeant Schillinger was appointed to the Major Case Squad as an investigator and also served as a Neighborhood Policing Officer. Sergeant Schillinger was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1997 and since that time has been assigned to the Affton and South County Precinct as a Patrol Supervisor, a Community Action Team Supervisor in the Bureau of Special Enforcement and as a Supervisor in the Bureau of Drug Enforcement, where he was assigned to a DEA Drug Task Force.

During his tenure with the St. Louis County Police Department, Sergeant Schillinger has received one Chief's Commendation and several Awards of Excellence and Letters of Appreciation for his service in the line of duty.

Sergeant Costello is a life-long resident of North St. Louis County, where he currently resides with his wife and three daughters. Sergeant Costello is currently assigned as a supervisor of the Crime Scene Unit. He was previously assigned as the supervisor of the Fugitive Affairs Unit. The fugitive Affairs Unit is responsible for processing all warrants issued by the St. Louis county Prosecuting Attorney and the St. Louis County Counselor. This Unit is also responsible for locating and extraditing individuals with outstanding felony warrants back to St. Louis County from jurisdictions throughout the country.

Sergeant Costello began his career in 1987 after graduating from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy. He was assigned to the division of Patrol in the Affton Precinct and was later transferred to the north County Precinct where he was also a Field Training Officer. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1997. As a supervisor, Sergeant Costello has been assigned to the West County and North County Precincts, Crime Scene Unit and his current assignment to the Fugitive Affairs Unit.

Sergeant Costello received a Bachelors Degree in the Administration of Justice from the University of Missouri St. Louis and an Associates Degree in criminal Justice from Florissant Valley Community College.

Sergeant Steve Salamon was born in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Nassau Community College and moved to the St. Louis area in 1978. He resides in West St. Louis County with his wife and four children. He is active in the cub scouts and was a former Cub Master.

He began his 28 year career in the patrol division assigned to the Maryland Heights area as a patrolman and currently is assigned to the Crime Scene Unit as a Supervisor.

Sergeant Salamon spent eight years as a patrolman before his assignment as a detective with the Crime Scene Unit. In 1987, he was transferred to the Division of Criminal Investigation to work fraud investigations with the General Assignment Unit and later went on to be a detective with the Burglary Unit. During his assignment with the Division of Criminal Investigation, Sergeant Salamon also spent ten years as an investigator with the Major Case Squad.

In 1997, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and was assigned to the North County Precinct which included patrol Sergeant, supervisor for the North County Neighborhood Police Unit and School Resource Officer supervisor. From the North County Precinct he was assigned to the City of Wildwood where he spent three years as a patrol Sergeant. In 2004, Sergeant Salamon was assigned to the Bureau of Communications as a supervisor of the 911 Center and in 2005, was transferred to the Bureau of Professional Responsibility as a Background Investigator.

Sergeant Larry Smith has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and over 31 years of law enforcement experience. He came to the St. Louis County Police Department in 1982 and was assigned to the North County Precinct. Prior to his employment with the St. Louis County Police Department, Sergeant Smith served three years with the U.S. Army Military Police and two years with the U.S. Army National Guard Military Police, where he was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He has five years experience with a municipal police department, holding the positions of Police Officer, Detective, Sergeant, and Detective Sergeant.

Since he has been with the St. Louis County Police Department, he has served as a field training instructor, background investigator, training coordinator, and academy instructor. As the training coordinator, Sergeant Smith created a report for the Equal Employment Opportunity Program that is used at a national level as an example to other agencies.

Sergeant Smith was fortunate enough to receive extensive training in firearms, less lethal programs and defensive tactics, in which he holds a variety of instructor ratings. He was the lead firearms instructor for St. Louis County and developed the firearms and defensive tactics programs that are currently in use at the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy for the Basic Police Recruits, Continuing Education and St. Louis County Police Department. He was responsible for the Use of Force training for the entire Metropolitan area and outside agencies.

Sergeant Smith is a committee member of the Police Officers Standards of Training Commission and set the firearms standards mandated statewide for basic recruits and retired peace officers. He is a member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI). He is an Instructor Trainer for the Firearms Instructor Program, Rifle Instructor Program.

Sergeant Smith is the only Instructor Trainer for the Instructor Defensive Tactics Program, Instructor Spontaneous Knife Program, and Instructor Ground Avoidance Ground Escape Program for the St. Louis County Police Department. He is a Certified Generalist Instructor with the Department of Public Safety that authorizes him to teach any subject.

Since his promotion, Sergeant Smith has been assigned to the North County Precinct, where he served as a watch supervisor. He is currently assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigations as the Supervisor of the Fugitive Affairs Unit.

Detective Doug Fite was born and raised in Carbondale, Illinois, and currently resides in West St. Louis County with his wife and two children. Detective Fite is currently assigned as the Supervisor of the Property Control Unit. In this position, he is responsible for all evidence and found property that is seized by St. Louis County Police and various other departments within St. Louis County.

Detective Fite began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in 1990 as a Police Recruit in the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy. After graduation, he was assigned to the West County Precinct as a Police Officer. While in the West County Precinct he was assigned to the Village of Hanley Hills, the City of Wildwood and also served as a Neighborhood Policing Officer for five years. After a successful assignment in the NPO Unit, he was selected for a position in the Property Control Unit.

In February 2002, Detective Fite was promoted to Supervisor of the Property Control Unit, where he serves in his current position.

Detective Fite served four years in the United States Air Force, and obtained an Associates Degree in Industrial Security from the Community College of the Air Force, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Webster University. He has received numerous Awards of Excellence and letters of appreciation.

Detective Fite enjoys spending time with his family, his children's school and sporting events, outdoor activities, and is an avid woodworker. He has also competed in several Missouri Police Olympic competitions representing his department through the years.

Detective Randall Combs is currently assigned as Lead Polygraph Examiner for the Saint Louis County Police Department. This unit is responsible for conducting polygraph screening of applicants for the position of police officer, criminal investigation cases and Professional Responsibility issues.

Detective Combs has been a member of the Saint Louis County Police Department since September of 1983. In 1986, he was selected to be a detective and has been a polygraph examiner since April of 1991. Detective Combs became lead examiner in 1996 and currently serves in this capacity.

Detective Combs has a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Central Missouri State University. In addition, he is also a graduate of the International Academy of Polygraph and is a member in good standing with the American Polygraph Association.

Maureen Summers was born and raised in North St. Louis County and currently resides in Golden Eagle, Illinois with her husband.

Ms. Summers started with the St. Louis County Police Department in 1969. Through the years she has worked in the Intelligence Unit, Financial Management, Civil Preparedness, Communications and Personnel and Training. She has been with the Division of Criminal Investigation since 1995.

Ms. Summers enjoys riding horses and fishing in her off time.
