Captain Dennis Elze was born and raised in the City of Woodson Terrace in St. Louis County, Missouri and currently resides in the Wildwood area with his wife Elizabeth. Captain Elze is assigned as the Commander of the Central County Precinct.

In this position he serves as the Precinct Commander, with law enforcement responsibility for the unincorporated areas of Central St.Louis County and for the municipalities within the precinct that contract with St. Louis County for police services.

Captain Elze began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department on February 9, 1979 when he was hired as a police officer and assigned to the West County Precinct. Following tours of duty include the Page-West Precinct, the Tactical Operations Unit, and the Bureau of Drug enforcement. He was promoted to sergeant and assigned to the West County Precinct and later to the Bureau of Drug Enforcement. Prior to being assigned to his current position, Captain Elze served as Commander of Special Operations and Commander of the North County Precinct.

Captain Elze attended DeSmet Jesuit High School, served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps, and attended the University of Missouri College of Agriculture. He enjoys riding his horses, playing the banjo, and fishing.

Lieutenant Chuck Boschert is currently assigned as a Watch Commander in the Central County Precinct. He had served as Commander of the Intelligence Unit since 1998, where he was primarily responsible for directing investigations relating to organized crime, public corruption and terrorism. In this position, he worked closely with federal law enforcement agencies and supervises St. Louis County detectives assigned to various federal task forces, including the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, the FBI Metropolitan Fugitive Task Force, the FBI Public Corruption Task Force, the Internal Revenue Service Financial Task Force and the Social Security Administration Cooperative Disability Investigations Unit.

Lieutenant Boschert began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in 1983 as a patrolman in the West County Precinct. In 1988 he was transferred to the St. Louis DEA Task Force where he remained until 1993, when he returned to the county's Bureau of Drug Enforcement. In 1995, he was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to the North County Precinct. Later that year, he returned to the Bureau of Drug Enforcement as a supervisor, where he helped oversee that bureau's evolution into the St. Louis County Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force. In 1998, he was selected to run the department's Intelligence Unit. He was promoted to Lieutenant shortly thereafter and remained in that position until 2009, when he was transferred to his present assignment in the Division of Patrol.

Lieutenant Boschert is a graduate of Central Missouri State University where he received a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Corrections. In 2002, Lieutenant Boschert was elected to the Executive Board of Law Enforcement Intelligence Unit (LEIU), an international criminal intelligence network. He is a member of the U.S. Attorney's Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council and the Mid-Missouri Domestic Terrorism Working Group. Lieutenant Boschert was a participant in the International Association of Chiefs of Police 2002 Criminal Intelligence Sharing Summit and is a graduate of the U.S. Secret Service's National Threat Assessment Center. Additionally, Lieutenant Boschert is part of the command team of the St. Louis Terrorism Early Warning Group.

Lieutenant Boschert is a strong proponent of establishing professional standards governing the operations of criminal intelligence units and recognizes that there must be a balance between protecting our constitutional liberties and protecting our society against those involved in criminal activity.

Lieutenant Norman Campbell was born in the City of St. Louis and raised in St. Louis County, where he currently resides with his wife and two sons. After high school he served in the United States Navy and is a recipient of the Southwest Asia Service Medal. This medal is awarded to members of the armed forces for service in Middle East during Operations Desert Shield or Desert Storm.

After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Lieutenant Campbell joined the St. Louis County Police Department in July 1994. Upon completion of Basic Recruit training, he was assigned to the Division of Patrol, North County Precinct. In this assignment, he served as a patrol officer. He was then transferred to the School Resource Unit, assigned to the Hazelwood School District (Kirby Junior High). During the summer months, he was temporarily reassigned to the North County Precinct where he was asked to stay and join the Neighborhood Policing (NPO) Unit, which is a unit dedicated to working in the community and solving neighborhood problems and concerns. After a successful assignment in the NPO Unit he received an assignment to the Office of the Chief of Police, Municipal Services Unit.

In March 2002, Lieutenant Campbell was promoted to the rank of sergeant and reassigned to the Division of Patrol, West County Precinct as a patrol supervisor. While assigned to the West County Precinct, he was designated Neighborhood Policing Unit Supervisor (East Sector).

In April 2003 Lieutenant Campbell was reassigned to the Office of the Chief of Police where he served as the Administrative Aide to the Chief of Police. His responsibilities included managing a variety of different programs and functions for the department, including the On-The-Job Training program for prior military personnel who entitled to GI Bill benefits, and the departments Internship program designed for college students who are interested in a career in law enforcement. He also served as President of "Do The Right Thing of Greater St. Louis," which is a program that recognizes kids for "doing the right thing."

Lieutenant Campbell was promoted to his current rank in July of 2005 and assigned to the Division of Patrol, North County Precinct. He now serves as Watch Commander of the Central County Precinct.

Lieutenant Campbell's awards include the Purple Heart award for being injured in the line of duty, Chief's Commendation, Awards of Excellence (2) and several letters of commendation.

Lieutenant Ron Varner joined the department in 1973. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1981 and Lieutenant in 1992. Lieutenant Varner has had assignments in Tactical Operations Unit, the Bureau of Drug Enforcement, the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons, the Bureau of Communications, the Office of Emergency Management, and the Bureau of Security Services. Precinct assignments include North County, West County, Central County, and Affton Southwest.

Lieutenant Varner has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Louis Community College.

Hobbies include motorcycle riding, photography, and spending time with granddaughters.

Sergeant Culian was born and raised in Richmond Heights, Missouri. He attended CBC High School and graduated from the University of Missouri St Louis with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Criminology.

He joined the St Louis County Police Department in 1997. He served in the North County Precinct from 1997 to 1999. He was then reassigned to the City of Fenton Precinct where he served from 1999 to 2001. He became a member of the Communtiy Action Team where he worked in all of the precincts in the county. He also worked with multiple outside agencies including: the FBI, ATF, DEA, special units of the St Louis County Police Department and local municipalities on special assignments until 2005. In 2005 he became a member of the Tactical Operations Unit. While serving in the Tactical Operations Unit he assisted with a wide variety of assignments ranging from search warrants, barricaded subjects, honor guards, special enforcement assignments, Presidential Motorcades and public display appearances. He was also a guest speaker at the 2009 World Sniper Symposium presented by OpTac International in Washington D.C.

In May of 2009 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and now serves in the Central County Precinct.

Sergeant Timothy Dennis is a 21-year police veteran. He has served in the Division of Special Operations, Operational Support, and the Division of Patrols; North, West, and, Central County Precincts. Sergeant Stanley Fuller is currently assigned as the Neighborhood Policing supervisor to the Central County Precinct. He began his career in June of 1995 in the North County Precinct where he spent three years serving the residents of North St. Louis County, primarily riding in the Castle Point area.

Sergeant Fuller was then reassigned as a Detective in the Bureau of Drug Enforcement where he spent 7 years with assignments in the Street Enforcement and Anti Gang Unit as well as the Special Investigations Unit. Sergeant Fuller was also assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration's Diversion Control Task Force before being promoted to the rank of Sergeant in July of 2005.

Sergeant Tracy Panus is assigned as a Watch Supervisor in the Central County Precinct. She was previously assigned as the Media Relations Officer in the Municipal Services Unit where she acted as a liaison with all print, radio, and television media sources. She coordinated and rans all Department press conferences and wrote all official Department press releases. Sergeant Panus also served as a member of the County Government's Communications Committee, the Department's Neighborhood Policing Committee and the Department's Special Olympics Committee. Sergeant Panus also served as the Joint Information Coordinator for any incident where the Emergency Operations Center is activated.

Sergeant Panus began her career with St. Louis County Police Department in 2000. Her first assignment was in the West County Precinct as a patrol officer. In the fall of 2000, she became a School Resource/D.A.R.E. Officer in the Valley Park School District where she remained for three years. She was then reassigned to the new Central County Precinct as a patrol officer and eventually a Neighborhood Policing Officer. In February 2006, Officer Panus was appointed to her current Media Relations position. She was promoted to sergeant in February 2009.

Sergeant Panus grew up in Washington, Missouri, where she graduated from Washington High School in 1992. She then attended Southeast Missouri State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Sergeant Panus received her police training at the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy in 1996, and began employment as a police officer with the City of Ballwin.

Officer Panus currently resides in St. Charles County with her husband, also a St. Louis County Police Officer, and two children.

Sergeant Chris Rudolph is currently assigned as a Watch Supervisor in the Central County Precinct. He was previously assigned as a supervisor in the Crime Scene Unit. In this capacity, he oversaw a group of detectives whose responsibility it is to gather physical evidence from crime scenes that may range from a car larceny to a homicide.

Sergeant Rudolph was born and raised in St. Louis. He attended Truman State University and received his degree in Criminal Justice in 1981. Later that year he joined the St. Louis County Police Department and served as a patrolman in the North and West County Precincts until he was promoted to sergeant in 1997. As a supervisor he has served in the North County, West County & City of Wildwood Precincts, as well as the Bureau of Communications. Sergeant Rudolph has also served as a member of the St. Louis Major Case Squad from 1996 to 1998.

Sergeant Rudolph is married with two children and lives in West Saint Louis County.

Sergeant Whitson is currently a watch Suopervisor for the Central County Precinct. Sergeant Whitson graduated from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy, where he earned the Award for Top Recruit, in 1979.

Sergeant Whitson was assigned as a probationary officer to the South County Precinct and later worked as a patrol officer in the West County Precinct. Sergeant Whitson was transferred to the Division Criminal Investigation and worked as a Burglary detective. Later he worked in an undercover capacity in the Bureau of Drug Enforcement. In 1990 he was detached, to continue in an undercover capacity, to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

In 1994 Sergeant Whitson was reassigned to the Tactical Operations Unit, where his primary assignment was that of a negotiator. Sergeant Whitson still acts a negotiator and responds to Tactical Operation callouts.

In 1997 Sergeant Whitson was promoted to his present rank. He has supervised in the North County Precinct, Communications, Metro Link Unit and Community Action Team. Sergeant Whitson assisted in the formation of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT). CIT officers are trained to handle situations that involve persons with mental illness or are in a mental health crisis. Sergeant Whitson assists in training CIT officers. Sergeant Whitson is a PPCT Defensive tactics instructor. He enjoys boxing, kickboxing and currently trains in Krav Maga, the Israeli military's self-defense system. Sergeant Whitson recently was certified as a Krav Maga Force Law Enforcement instructor.

Sergeant Whitson has a bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement Management from Sterling College. Sergeant Whitson has received 45 awards and letters of appreciation. Sergeant Whitson resides in St. Louis County with his wife and daughter.

Officer John Bowman was born in the City of St. Louis and currently resides in St. Louis County. Upon receiving his commission as an officer, he was assigned to the Central County Precinct as a patrol officer. Officer Bowman attended Delta State University located in Cleveland, Mississippi where he graduated and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science.

Prior to joining the police department, Officer Bowman worked for the State of Missouri as a Child Abuse and Neglect Investigator. As an investigator, Officer Bowman was responsible for investigating cases of child abuse and neglect.

Officer Bowman currently is assigned to the Central County Precinct, Neighborhood Policing Unit as a Juvenile Resource Officer.

Officer Joseph Ellis was born and raised in Lebanon Maine, and currently resides in the St. Charles County area with his family. Prior to joining the police department, Officer Ellis served four years in the United States Air Force as a fire fighter.

While serving in the Air Force Officer Ellis attended Belleville Area College and received his associate's degree and his EMT-A license. His studies continued and he became a certified Paramedic, working for 10 years at the O'Fallon, Illinois ambulance district.

Officer Ellis began his career in St Louis County, in 1998 when he attended the St. Louis County Police Academy. Upon receiving his commission as an officer, he was assigned to the 2nd Precinct working as a patrol officer. In those 10 years working the streets he has become certified in accident reconstruction, a "Field Training Instructor" for newly assigned officers, bicycle officer, and is on the "Crisis Intervention Team". He is currently assigned as a Neighborhood Policing Officer in the Central County Precinct.

Officer Ellis has received The Distinguished Service Citation, The Meritorious Service Citation, The Medal of Valor, as well as numerous Awards of Excellence, and letters of appreciation.

Officer Jeff Milam was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs and currently resides in North St. Louis County with his family. Prior to joining the police department, Officer Milam attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and he received his bachelors degree in criminal justice. Officer Milam began his career with St. Louis County in 2002 when he attended the St. Louis County Municipal Police Academy. Upon receiving his commission as an officer, he was assigned to the Central County Precinct.

In his years with the department, Officer Milam has become a Field Training Instructor for newly assigned officers. He is currently assigned as a Neighborhood Policing Officer in the Central County Precinct. Officer Milam has received numerous awards of excellence and letters of appreciation.
