COMMUNITY ADVISORY GROUP MEETING
The Northwest Parkway EIS Study will hold the fourth Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS) Northwest Parkway Community Advisory Group Meeting on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the JFK Community Center in the City of Florissant, located at 315 Howdershell Road. The CSS Advisory Group meetings are intended for meaningful dialogue between the Study Team and CSS Advisory Group members, focused on key issues related to the Northwest Parkway EIS. The meeting is open to the public, however, dialogue with the general public will be limited until the formal meeting has concluded.
PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING
The second Northwest Parkway EIS Public Information Meeting will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the JFK Community Center in the City of Florissant, located at 315 Howdershell Road. The purpose of this open house meeting is to present the reasonable range of alternatives for a new roadway alignment. The initial screening process of the alternatives will also be explained. Comments from the general public will be collected at the meeting, where maps and materials will be available following the open house. No formal presentation will be made at the open house, but team members will be available for questions and comments. Comments may also be submitted through this website to Project Manager, Adam Spector at ASpector@stlouisco.com.

St. Louis County has hired a team of engineering consultants lead by CH2M HILL to assist in the production of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Location Study for the Northwest Parkway project. St. Louis County will serve as the Sponsoring Agency. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will be the Lead Agency for this study, and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will serve as Co-Lead Agency. Other firms assisting CH2M HILL are Parsons Brinckerhoff, Vector Communications Corporation, and Archaeological Resource Center.
