Hazel Erby (D)

Hazel Erby has been a resident of University City for over 35 years. She was elected to the St. Louis County Council for a second term in 2006. She became the first African American female to serve on the St. Louis County Council. She has served as Chairman of the County Council and Chairman of the Justice, Health, and Welfare Committee and is currently Vice Chair of the Committee of the Whole.
