Kathleen Kelly Burkett (D)
Kathleen Kelly Burkett was first elected to represent the citizens of the 2nd County Council District in a 2002 special election. She has been re-elected to a four-year term twice, first in 2008 and again in 2012, currently serves as Chairman of the Council, and is the Chairman of the Revenue and Personnel Committee.
