Kathleen Kelly Burkett was first elected to represent the citizens of the 2nd County Council District in a 2002 special election. She was re-elected to a four-year term in 2008, serves as Vice-Chairman of the Council, and is the current the Chairman of the Revenue and Personnel Committee.
