Mechanical Periodic Inspections

Periodic inspections shall be made by the Code Official of all equipment and devices listed in the table below at the frequency specified, or at such other times as the Code Official shall deem appropriate. Fees for inspections shall be paid by the owner of such equipment or devices as indicated in the table or as noted in the Mechanical Ordinance. At the time of enactment of this section, it is the intention of the County to phase in Comprehensive Annual Elevator Inspections meeting both County and State obligations, and phase out more-frequent-than annual non-comprehensive inspections
