The Honorable Terry W. Wiese
Family Court Commissioner
Commissioner Wiese was appointed to Family Court in June 2000.
Commissioner Wiese received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Missouri School of Law.
Commissioner Wiese served as a Public Defender representing indigent juvenile defendants. Subsequently, he represented the Juvenile Officers of St. Louis City and County in a variety of roles for over twenty years.
Commissioner Wiese is active in the juvenile law community, having served as chair of the Missouri Bar Association's Juvenile Courts and Laws Committee, authored a chapter in the Missouri Bar Association's "Juvenile Law" CLE publication, and served on a subcommittee of the Office of State Courts Administrator for the creation of standardized forms for juvenile practice.
