NON-JURY ASSOCIATE CIVIL CASES FOR DIVISION 42

Call Docket: The call docket begins at 9:00 a.m. If a plaintiff fails to appear without contacting the court regarding being late for court, their case may be dismissed. If a defendant fails to appear without contacting the court regarding being late for court, a default judgment may be entered.

Motions: Motions are heard on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday at 9:30 a.m. If your case is a Monday or Thursday case, contact the docket clerk at (314) 615-8435 to set your motions. If your case is a Wednesday case contact the docket clerk at (314) 615-8044 to set your motions.

Trials: Trials are heard on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday at 10:00 a.m. If your case is a Monday or Thursday case, contact the docket clerk at (314) 615-8435 to set your trial. If your case is a Wednesday case contact the docket clerk at (314) 615-8044 to set your trial.

  • Trials scheduled for Monday, Wednesday or Thursday at 10:00 a.m. should be one hour or less.

  • A written request for a trial setting longer than one hour should be accompanied by the exlusionary dates of the attorneys of record or the Pro Se party.

  • Inquiries regarding a trial setting longer than one (1) hour should be directed to the division clerk at (314) 615-1542.

    Friendly Suits: These cases are set on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday at 10:00 a.m. by the summons clerk.
