Judge Goldman was appointed circuit judge on February 19, 1988. Judge Goldman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his Juris Doctorate degree from St. Louis University. Until 1971, Judge Goldman served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was an assistant prosecuting attorney in the St. Louis County Prosecutor's Office from 1972 until 1988, acting as chief trial attorney in 1977. Judge Goldman is a member of the St. Louis County Bar Association, Lawyers Association of St. Louis, and has served on the Grievance Committee of the St. Louis Metropolitan Medicine Society. Judge Goldman has served as chair of the ad hoc committee to revise Supreme Court criminal rules. He is also a member of the Phi Delta Phi and Sigma Alpha Mu fraternities. In addition, Judge Goldman has served as guest lecturer for the Metropolitan Police Academy, the St. Louis County Police Education Services and the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services. Judge Goldman resides in St. Louis County with his wife. They have two children. |
