The Honorable John A. Ross
Circuit Judge, Division 15

Judge Ross was appointed circuit judge January 3, 2000.

Judge Ross received both his Bachelor of Arts degree and Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Ross was the County Counselor for St. Louis County. He also served in the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office as a Grand Jury attorney, assistant chief trial attorney and chief trial attorney. Judge Ross was also appointed special assistant attorney general and special assistant prosecuting attorney for St. Charles County.

Judge Ross is a member of the St. Louis County Domestic and Family Violence Counsel and Friends of the Weinman Shelter.

He and his wife reside in St. Louis County. They have two children.
