The Honorable Larry L. Kendrick
Circuit Judge, Division 17

Judge Kendrick was appointed circuit judge on January 2, 1991.

Judge Kendrick received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his Juris Doctorate degree from St. Louis University.

From 1967 through 1971, Judge Kendrick served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service. From 1974 until 1978 he was Assistant County Counselor for St. Louis County. Judge Kendrick was appointed St. Louis County Magistrate for the 6th District, in 1976. He engaged in private practice from 1978 through 1981. From 1981 until 1985 he served as deputy director/general counsel for the Missouri Department of Social Services. He was appointed associate circuit judge in 1985.

Judge Kendrick is a member of the State Circuit Court Budget Committee. He is a member of the Missouri Bar, St. Louis County Bar Association, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Lawyers Association.

He and his wife are lifetime residents of St. Louis County. They have two children.
