Judge Dolan was appointed circuit judge on March 30, 1999.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Louis University Law School.

Judge Dolan was engaged in private practice from 1984 until she was appointed to the bench as an associate circuit judge in 1994.

Judge Dolan is a member of the Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association, serving as secretary from 1996 through 1997 and vice president in 1998. She is a member of the Missouri Association of Probate and Associate Circuit Judges, and the Supreme Court Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has previously served on the Supreme Court Committees on Family Law (1997-2000) and Municipal Division Education (1995-2000).
