The Honorable Patrick Clifford
Associate Circuit Judge, Division 39

Judge Clifford was appointed associate circuit judge in 1982.

Judge Clifford received his Bachelor of Arts degree and his Juris Doctorate degree from St. Louis University.

Judge Clifford was elected magistrate judge of St. Louis County in 1978. Judge Clifford engaged in private practice from 1973 until 1975 specializing in labor relations, federal and general civil practice. He also served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for St. Louis County from 1975 until 1978.

Judge Clifford is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the St. Louis County Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Probate and Associate Circuit Judges, the Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association, the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the 94th Infantry Division Alliance and a board member of the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators.

Judge Clifford has served as a guest lecturer for the Medical/Legal Death Investigators Course at the St. Louis University School of Medicine since 1989.
