Judge Kintz was appointed circuit judge on January 10, 1993.

Judge Kintz received both his Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree and his Juris Doctorate degree from St. Louis University.

Judge Kintz was elected St. Louis County magistrate judge for the 3rd district in 1978. He then served as an associate circuit judge prior to his appointment as circuit judge for the 21st Judicial Circuit Court.

Judge Kintz is a member of the Missouri Bar, St. Louis County Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Lawyers Association. Judge Kintz is also a member of the Brentwood Lions Club.

He and his wife reside in St. Louis County. They have four children.
