Judge Vincent was appointed circuit judge on November 14, 1997. Judge Vincent received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee State University. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. He actively practiced law until his appointment to the bench. He served as an assistant circuit attorney from 1988 until 1993. He served in the homicide unit and as a felony staff supervisor. Judge Vincent is a member of the Missouri Bar, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Mound City Bar Association. He is also a member of the Missouri Supreme Court Judicial Finance Commission. Judge Vincent is involved with the St. Louis County Truancy Court Program in the Pattonville School District. Judge Vincent also coaches high school mock trial teams for Pattonville and Marquette High Schools. While under his guidance, the teams have won state championships in 1995, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2003. Judge Vincent resides in St. Louis County with his wife. They have two children. |
