Why is this important to you and your business?
This is important to your business because you cannot separate the
economic development of Saint Louis County from the development of a
qualified workforce.
Under the leadership of the Workforce Investment Board, the Missouri
Career Center - Saint Louis County has been the premiere link between
economic development and workforce development in Saint Louis County. As
part of a national network of workforce development professionals our mission
has remained the same, "to serve as a partnership between Saint Louis County
residents and businesses in supporting the St. Louis metropolitan area's
economic development with a qualified workforce."
Are there any new services that can increase my bottom line?
YES. In an effort to enhance the link between economic development and
workforce development, the Missouri Career Center - Saint Louis County
has created a Business Service Center staffed by the Business Service
Group. They will work with you to address your current and projected
workforce needs. We will look at your business both in terms of
employment opportunities and skill sets in order to match them with
qualified job-seekers.
"We had a wonderful experience working with the Missouri
Career Center in Saint Louis County. Because of the response to our mass
hire was so successful, we had the opportunity to refer qualified candidates
to other stores throughout Saint Louis County."
