As of June 1, 2005 the cost for animal adoption is $40.

The animal adoption fee covers some immunizations and the insertion of an identifying microchip so your pet can be returned quickly if it becomes lost. Animals are also required to be spayed or neutered by a veterinarian at your expense within 30 days.

Animals are also available for adoption from other Saint Louis metropolitan shelters. Off-site listings are provided as a convenience for our browsing visitors and of course do not imply any endorsement, etc...
