Bohrer Park Master Plan 2008

The Geo. E. Bohrer Park Conceptual Master Plan was commissioned by St. Louis County Department of Parks & Recreation in May, 2007, and presented during an open public meeting on March 5, 2008.

St. Louis Department of Parks & Recreation hired White & Borgognoni, Architects, P.C. and their design team to prepare a conceptual master plan for the 15 acre park to include: public input and survey of park issues and needs; an inventory of the existing site, utilities, and facilities and park uses; and to produce a Conceptual Master Plan with a preliminary cost estimate for a park renovation in three phases.

The Conceptual Master Plan report represents a vision of phased renovation and redevelopment schemes that could be Geo. Bohrer Park.

St. Louis County Department of Parks & Recreation has an initial project budget in 2008 funds towards the design work to renovate and fix the failing 0.28 acre pond. This is identified in Phase I of the conceptual master plan. Completion of the Pond area renovation would require up to 2 years and relies upon future supplemental funds.
