Community Center

R-9 Community Center is located one half block west of Telegraph Road in South St. Louis County. Mid-East Area Agency on Aging leases the building five days per week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. as a lunch and activity center for Senior Citizens. Mid-East owns all of the kitchen equipment and tables and chairs in the meeting room. Access to the kitchen is not granted to permit holders.

R-9 Community Center may be reserved on:

• weekday evenings between 6 and 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday
• 6 p.m. to midnight on Fridays
• between 10 a.m. and midnight on Saturdays
• 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays.
• It is reservable throughout the year except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve after 5 p.m.

$30 fee for non-profit organizations - defined as meetings or other activities not involving the raising of funds for the organization. Must be a bona-fide not-for-profit organization.

Available Monday - Thursday.

$120 fee for other non-profit organization activity - defined as any activity other than meetings (non-fundraising and fundraising) for a bona-fide not-for-profit organization.

Available Monday - Sunday.

Available Friday, Saturday & Sunday - non-profit meetings

$250 fee for commercial organizations and private individuals - defined as meetings, fundraising events, dances, parties, etc., by a commercial organization or private individuals.
