Bandwagons are for use at Department special events in County Parks and to rent to other organizations for events located within the St. Louis metropolitan area.

The stage will seat approximately 40 people and is effective for audiences up to 3,000.

A Department of Parks and Recreation employee will be present with the bandwagon at all times and is responsible for all aspects of its operation.

RESERVATIONS

For non-Department events, the bandwagon is reservable between March 15 and October 31, up to one full year in advance by calling 314-615-4386 on weekdays between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Requests should specify the type of event, specific location, estimated attendance, exact hours of use each day and name, address and telephone number of requester.

The minimum fee is $675 for four hours or less. The four (4) hour minimum includes one (1) hour for event set-up and one (1) hour for event take-down. For each hour over the initial four, there is an additional charge of $85 per hour. If the bandwagon is used longer than specified on the reservation, the permit holder will be invoiced for the balance due.

Information will be sent with the reservation requesting that the on-site individual in charge of the event contact the Department bandwagon operator, Jeff Boeger 314-713-7262, approximately 2 weeks prior to the event to coordinate final arrangements and to assure that this aspect of the event is successful.

RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 14 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE INTENDED USE DATE

Payment for a reservation must be made at the time you make the reservation. You may call, up to one full year in advance, 314-615-4386 to reserve by charge card or by bank debit card (no ATM cards). The Department accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover. The Department will also accept checks, cash or money orders presented in person at the following location:

Refunds/Date Changes - Any request received 60 days or more prior to the reservation date will receive the entire amount less the $13 processing charge.

Cancellations made with less than 60 days and 30 or more days prior to the reservation date will receive 50% of total reservation fee, less $13.00 processing charge.

There will be no refund or credit granted if a request is received less than 30 days prior to the reservation date.

RESERVATIONS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE AND MAY BE REVOKED OR CHANGED AT ANY TIME AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DIRECTOR.
