Laumeier Sculpture Park is an open-air museum. It features over 80 sculptures situated along walking trails, in open fields and wooded areas, and in the museum’s Sculpture Garden. You’re invited to experience the sculptures by seeing, touching, and sometimes entering, but please do not climb on them. |

#1. Start at the [west] Rott Rd. entrance parking lot. Go to the Children’s Sculpture Garden and find Ricardo Cat. You’ll find a place to sit down inside Ricardo. There’s a tile with a depiction of a marine animal on the seat. What is the animal? _______________ |

#2. Find Ball? Ball! Wall? Wall! The artist originally had these steel marine buoys arranged in a pyramid shape. How many buoys are there? ____________ |

#3. Next, locate the Charles Moss Education (Art Camp) Shelter. From there, follow the paved trail about 440 ft. until you get to Leelinau. There’s an interpretive plaque near the ground, but you will find her high up in a tree. What is Leelinau’s long hair made out of? __________________ |

#4. Go back to the parking lot and follow the asphalt trail connecting the west and north parking lots. Along the trail, in front of the museum, you will find Birds Fly Through Us. #5. Can you see the 24 ft. tall Man with Briefcase by the north parking lot? Walk past him, and find Ferrara’s Laumeier Project. Go inside. How many openings to the outside are there? ____________ |
