Facilities include:
Camping
Group tent camping for organizations only. By Missouri River.
Water and restrooms available in season.
Fishing
Available along the Missouri River in accordance with Missouri Wildlife Code.
Horseback Riding Trails
Permitted only on designated trails with open riding allowed along the river.
Horse trailer parking area is the gravel lot. (Bring your own horse, no horse rentals are available).
Picnic Shelters
Reservable. Electrical outlets, seasonal modern restrooms, water and barbeque pits.
- Epstein Shelter: For 0 to 75 persons.
- Lenz Shelter: For 0 to 75 persons.
- Black Buffalo Shelter: For 0 to 75 persons.
Picnic Sites -- two located east of Epstein Shelter.
Playgrounds
One near the Epstein Shelter. (small w/ no swings)
One near Lenz Shelter. (large with 2 standard swings, no tot)
Restrooms
Modern and lighted in Epstein and Lenz shelter areas. Restrooms are accessible.
Lenz restroom is open year round.
Tennis Courts
Two non-reservable. Located near the front entrance.
Trails
Black Buffalo Trail .5 miles. Both horseback riding and hiking are allowed on this trail.
Winter Outdoor Sports
Sioux Passage is a designated Winter Sports area with snowmobiling, sled riding and
cross-country skiing permitted.
