Captain Dennis Elze was born and raised in the City of Woodson Terrace in St. Louis County, Missouri and currently resides in the Wildwood area with his wife Elizabeth. Captain Elze is assigned as the Commander of the Central County Precinct.
In this position he serves as the Precinct Commander, with law enforcement responsibility for the unincorporated areas of Central St.Louis County and for the municipalities within the precinct that contract with St. Louis County for police services.
Captain Elze began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department on February 9, 1979 when he was hired as a police officer and assigned to the West County Precinct. Following tours of duty include the Page-West Precinct, the Tactical Operations Unit, and the Bureau of Drug enforcement. He was promoted to sergeant and assigned to the West County Precinct and later to the Bureau of Drug Enforcement. Prior to being assigned to his current position, Captain Elze served as Commander of Special Operations and Commander of the North County Precinct.
Captain Elze attended DeSmet Jesuit High School, served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps, and attended the University of Missouri College of Agriculture. He enjoys riding his horses, playing the banjo, and fishing.

Lieutenant Guy Means

Lieutenant Guy Means was born in the City of St. Louis and currently resides in the North County area of St. Louis County. Lieutenant Means is a Watch Commander in the Central County Precinct. He is assigned to the Division of Patrol. He is responsible for supervising patrol Sergeants and Police Officers who carry out day -to-day routine crime suppression and investigative functions.
He started his career as a patrol officer with the St. Louis County Police in 1991 where he was assigned to the Affton Southwest Precinct. He was a Certified Bike Officer and Neighborhood Police Officer. In 1995 he was assigned to the Municipal Services Unit in the Office of the Chief of Police. This Unit is responsible for developing and maintaining a liaison with area law enforcement agencies in effort to improve the delivery of police services. It is also responsible for the coordination of police municipal service contracts with municipal law enforcement agencies and governments.
In 1999 he was promoted to Sergeant and served as a patrol supervisor in the West County precinct. He was transferred to The Metro Link Unit in 2001 that is a contract service for Metro Transportation Organization. He was responsible and insured the safety and security of the passengers and property of the Metro Link Light Rail System until his transfer in 2002.
Lt. Means was then assigned to the Office of the Chief of Police as the Administrative Aide. He was the Vice-President of the Do The Right Program in conjunction with KMOV-TV Channel 4 in 2002-2003. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2002. Lt. Means has a Bachelor's Degree in Management of Criminal Justice from Concordia University-Wisconsin. He is a current member of NOBLE, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives.
Lt. Means has received several Awards of Excellence, two Chief's Commendation, and 29 letters of appreciation. Lt. Means is a member of The St. Louis County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT).

Lieutenant Ron Varner

Lieutenant Ron Varner joined the department in 1973. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1981 and Lieutenant in 1992. Lieutenant Varner has had assignments in Tactical Operations Unit, the Bureau of Drug Enforcement, the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons, the Bureau of Communications, the Office of Emergency Management, and the Bureau of Security Services. Precinct assignments include North County, West County, Central County, and Affton Southwest.
Lieutenant Varner has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Louis Community College.
Hobbies include motorcycle riding, photography, and spending time with granddaughters.

Sergeant Stanley Fuller

Sergeant Stanley Fuller is currently assigned as a watch supervisor to the Central County Precinct. He began his career in June of 1995 in the North County Precinct where he spent three years serving the residents of North St. Louis County, primarily riding in the Castle Point area.
Sergeant Fuller was then reassigned as a Detective in the Bureau of Drug Enforcement where he spent 7 years with assignments in the Street Enforcement and Anti Gang Unit as well as the Special Investigations Unit. Sergeant Fuller was also assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration's Diversion Control Task Force before being promoted to the rank of Sergeant in July of 2005.

Sergeant Scott Johnston

Sergeant Scott Johnston is a third-generation police officer and a native of St. Louis County. He attended college at Southeast Missouri State University, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Criminal Justice.
He began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in July of 1980 and over the years has served in the North County, Central County, West County, Affton Southwest, and City of Wildwood precincts. Prior to being promoted to the rank of sergeant in 1998, he served as a homicide detective in the bureau of Crimes Against Persons, and also served as a detective on the St. Louis Major Case Squad for ten years.
Sergeant Johnston is currently assigned as a Watch Supervisor in the Central County precinct, where he assists and oversees the uniformed patrol officers of that precinct.
Sergeant Johnston is married and has one daughter. His interests include hunting, fishing and shooting sports.

Sergeant Mike Reifschneider

Sergeant Mike Reifschneider is a supervisor in the Central County Precinct in the Division of Patrol. He has been assigned to the Central County Precinct since 2003. He began his career in 1984 where he attended the Greater St. Louis Police Academy in the City of St. Louis. As a patrol officer he worked in the North County and West County Precincts. He has worked in the capacity of a Crime Scene Investigator and is an Accident Reconstructionist. He has served in the Division of Criminal Investigations as a detective in the Crimes Against Persons Family Crime Unit as a child abuse investigator. In 2001 he was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to the North County Precinct. Sergeant Reifschneider has also been a supervisor in the Fenton Precinct.
Sergeant Reifschneider is involved with the Department's Special Olympics program. This program is a major source of revenue for Special Olympics, which allows citizens with special needs to experience the thrill of competing in a variety of sporting events.
Sergeant Reifschneider has earned a two-year degree from Ranken Technical College in St. Louis. He is a life-long resident of the St. Louis area.
Sergeant Reifschneider is the son of Officer James Reifschneider, a St. Louis County police officer who was killed in the line of duty on April 30, 1977.

Sergeant Mark Werner

Sergeant Mark Werner is a life-long resident of St. Louis County where he has raised his family. He began his police career with the St. Louis County Police Department in September 1977 after his graduation from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy.
Sergeant Werner was assigned as a Patrol Officer in the North County Precinct where he served the citizens of unincorporated areas of the precinct as well as the City of Black Jack for twelve years. He was then assigned as a Detective to the Division of Criminal Investigation, Bureau of Crimes Against Persons where he investigated numerous crimes including robberies, rapes and child abuse cases. In May 1992, Sergeant Werner was assigned as a Patrol Officer to the City of Hazelwood Detail where he served the Hazelwood residents until May 1993. Sergeant Werner then returned as a Patrol Officer to the North County Precinct and the City of Black Jack where he served those residents until he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in April 1998. Sergeant Werner was then transferred to the West County Precinct where he served as a Patrol Supervisor until April 2003. Sergeant Werner was then reassigned as a Patrol Supervisor in the Central County Precinct where he continues to serve the community. Sergeant Werner also serves as a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Supervisor.
During Sergeant Werner's career he has been the recipient of numerous awards and letters of appreciation.

Police Officer Jim Molden

Officer Jim Molden was born and raised in St. Louis, and currently resides in the St Charles area with his family. Prior to joining police department in 1992 as an officer, he served in the United States Air Force.
He began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department, assigned to the North County Precinct. While assigned there, he served as a patrol officer, a "Field Training Instructor" for newly assigned officers, and finally as a Neighborhood Policing Officer, until 1999. At this point in his career, he was transferred to the Division of Criminal Investigation, where he served as a detective, in the Bureau of Crimes against Property. During his tenure, he was trained as a "Computer Forensic Investigator" and worked with the "Regional Computer Crimes Enforcement and Education Group" as an investigator until 2005; were he was reassigned to the Central County Precinct, and currently works a Neighborhood Policing Officer.
Officer Molden has received several letters of appreciation, an "Award of Excellence" and in 2001 he was recognized for distinguished service by the "Legal Advocates for Abuse Women".
