Captain Gary L. Crews was born in St. Louis and raised in North St. Louis County. Currently, Captain Crews resides in the City of Wildwood with his wife, Tanya, and is assigned to the City of Wildwood Precinct for the St. Louis County Police Department.
In this position, he serves as the Precinct Commander and is responsible for the management of the police service provided to the City of Wildwood, which contracts police service through the St. Louis County Police Department.
Captain Crews began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in July of 1973, and after graduation from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Academy, was assigned as a patrol officer in the Second Precinct. During his 31 year career, Captain Crews has worked in an undercover capacity in the Bureau of Drug Abuse, was a helicopter pilot in the Flight Operations Unit, a primary negotiator in the Tactical Operations Unit, a supervisor in the Uniform Patrol Division, the Burglary Unit, the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and the Tactical Operations Unit. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1984, to the rank of Lieutenant in 1994 and to the rank of Captain in 1997.
Captain Crews has a Bachelors Degree from the University Of Missouri - Columbia, and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He is the recipient of numerous letters of appreciation and Awards of Excellence, two Chiefs Commendations and the Departments Purple Heart. As a hobby and part of a healthy lifestyle, Captain Crews and his wife are involved in many swimming, bicycling and running activities and participate in triathlons all across the United States.

Lieutenant Timothy Tanner

Lieutenant Tanner is a long time Kirkwood resident where he currently resides with his wife and four children.
Lieutenant Tanner is assigned to the City of Wildwood Precinct as the watch commander. His duties include the supervision of day-to-day patrol operations in the Wildwood Precinct, which provides police services for the City of Wildwood.
Lieutenant Tanner began his career with St Louis County Police Department in January 1990. He has served as a patrol officer in the South County Precinct and as a commercial rated helicopter pilot in the Tactical Operations Unit. In September of 2001 he was promoted to the rank of sergeant and assigned to the Affton Southwest Precinct as a patrol supervisor. In July 2005 he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and assigned to the Wildwood Precinct.
Lieutenant Tanner has received 54 awards, which include 2 Chief's Commendations and the Purple Heart. He is also the recipient of the John J. McAtee Award from the Mental Health Association and the Community Service Award presented by the South County Chamber of Commerce.
Lieutenant Tanner is a Marine Corps veteran and a graduate from St Louis Community College with a degree in criminal justice. His hobbies include hunting and fly fishing.

Police Officer Robert Wolff

Robert Wolff is a St. Louis native and has been a police officer for eighteen (18) years. He started his career in 1988 with the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department where he worked in the Eighth District located in north Saint Louis. He subsequently became a member of the Saint Louis County Police Department in 1997 where he was assigned to the West County Precinct. Two years later Officer Wolff was transferred to the Wildwood Precinct and continued his duties as a patrol officer.
In February of 2000 Officer Wolff was given one of two Neighborhood Police Officer positions for the Wildwood Precinct. He currently maintains that position today. His duties include coordinating Neighborhood Watch Programs, working to resolve neighborhood problems, conducting various types of safety presentations such as bicycle safety and stranger awareness. In addition Officer Wolff has been teaching Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) to elementary school students within the city of Wildwood since September of 2000.
Officer Wolff has a passion for teaching the community about the dangers of drug abuse. He worked several years as an undercover narcotics detective and observed "first hand" the consequences of drug abuse. As a result he educates numerous parent groups, high school-middle school-elementary school students, boy scout and girl scout groups, and other community organizations about the dangers of drugs.
Officer Wolff is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (N.H.T.S.A.). He frequently instructs parents on how to properly install child safety seats and is active in assisting both Safe Kids Saint Louis and Saint Louis Children's Hospital with child passenger safety. Officer Wolff is also a certified police cyclist. He spends a good portion of his time patrolling the city of Wildwood on a bicycle which offers a different approach to crime fighting and community policing.
Officer Wolff attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he played ice hockey and studied criminal justice.

Police Officer Bradley Wood

Police Officer Bradley Wood was born and raised in southern Illinois, and currently resides in Eureka, MO with his family. Officer Wood is assigned to the Wildwood Precinct for the St. Louis County Police Department. In this position, he serves as a Neighborhood Police Officer. Officer Wood has responsibilities which include coordinating the Neighborhood Watch Program for the Wildwood Precinct, conducting Safety presentations for various child and citizen groups, assisting and educating parents on the proper use of child safety seats, fitting bicycle helmets as part of the helmet give-away program, working to resolve neighborhood problems and disputes, performing police bicycle patrols throughout the City of Wildwood, coordinating enforcement efforts in areas of chronic violations and complaints, and fulfilling various other responsibilities as assigned by the Precinct Commander or Supervisors.
Officer Wood began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in June 1981 when he was hired as a police officer and assigned to the Affton Precinct. In addition to his current assignment, he has served as an investigator in the Personnel and Training Unit, a Research Associate in the Chief's Office, a Supervisor of the Reserve Police Unit, and a police officer in the administrative office of the Division of Patrol, in Court Security, and the West County Precinct.
Officer Wood received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician through NHTSA and is active in assisting both Safe Kids St Louis and Children's Hospital with child passenger safety. Officer Wood is also a qualified Police Cyclist having completed basic and advanced police cycle training. He has received a Chief's Commendation, as well as several Awards of Excellence. In addition, Officer Wood practices fitness as lifestyle and is actively involved with his family and church.
