On Wednesday, February 11, 2009, the St. Louis County Board of Police Commissioners and Chief Jerry Lee will recognize several law enforcement officers, announce new promotions, and introduce three newly appointed employees at the County Police Board Meeting. The presentation will be at 1:30 PM, in the County Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 41 South Central, St. Louis, Missouri, 63105.
br> Mr. William Howe, Director, Bureau of Staff Services, will introduce three newly appointed noncommissioned employees: Ms. Julia Wood, Police Report Clerk, assigned to the CARE Unit; Mr. Thomas Clark, Forensic Scientist I, assigned to the Crime Lab; and Mr. Douglas Zaiz, Facility Systems Manager, assigned to the Affton-Southwest and South County Precincts. Commissioner Warmann, Acting Chairman, will present a Certificate of Retirement to Sergeant Roeseler for his 32 years of service, Police Officer Michael Roberts for his 39 years of service, and Ms. Kathryn Brehe for her 26 years of service. Commissioner Warmann, Acting Chairman, will also present a Distinguished Service Citation to Detective Kurt Hauser. Chief Lee will introduce the Honorable Heather Hediger, Mayor of the City of St. George, the newest city to contract with St. Louis County for patrol services.
