On Friday, August 28, 2009, St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch announced the promotions of Detective Francis Gomez and Police Officer Dale Johnson to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Francis Gomez is a 13 year police veteran. He has served in the Division of Criminal Investigation and as a Patrolman in the Affton Southwest Precinct. Sergeant Gomez received his Bachelor Degree in Communication from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Sergeant Gomez has received 33 awards, commendations, and letters of appreciation.
Sergeant Dale Johnson is a 11 year police veteran. She has served as a Public Safety Dispatcher in the Bureau of Communications and as a Police Officer in the Affton Southwest and the City of Wildwood. Sergeant Johnson has received 14 awards, commendations, and letters of appreciation.
