In its disparity study of St. Louis County, Griffin & Strong, P.C. (GSPC) clearly found statistically significant inconsistencies for all minority, woman, veteran, and service disabled veteran owned business groups in contracting awards during the study period from January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2015.
Additionally, it found that these inconsistencies were due to race, gender, ethnicity, veteran status and/or service related ailments. GSPC deemed there is extensive evidence demonstrating discrimination in St. Louis County’s purchasing where race and gender based programs are legally supported and necessary.
