Dial 3-1-1 from your mobile phone. Notice: If your mobile carrier does not allow the call to go through, you can still connect with us by pushing the "Dial 311" button on the main screen of the app. You can also dial 314-615-7311 from your mobile phone.

What is Gateway 311?
Gateway 311 is a new way for you to connect to St. Louis County. Our new 311 mobile app let's you do more things without having to call us. Our Citizen Support Center answers questions for County Departments such as Parks, Health, Transportation, Public Works, Human Services, Government, Police, Courts, Elections, Revenue, Property Tax, Animal Control, County Council, County Executive, and more.
What benefits does the 311 mobile app offer?
Find answers to FAQ's without having to make a phone call. Submit a question to our contact center. Create a service request and be updated via email until it is complete. Subscribe to categories that include information for events, activities and things to do throughout the County.
What is an online service request?
It is a way to secure our help without making a phone call. First, download the mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store. Then create your user profile. Locate the service request option (pothole), answer a few questions, and submit the request. No need to make a phone call. Service requests include potholes, street issues, trees, property maintenance, rodent problem, abandoned vehicle, restaurant sanitation, public health issue and more.
Does the new 311 Contact Center replace calling a specific department?
You can still call a specific County Department or you can call the Contact Center directly by dialing 311 on your mobile device. When you dial the County switchboard (314-615-5000) and you connected to the 311 Citizen Support Center Team.
What if I don't have a smartphone?
You can use the 311 app and all it's features on your desktop PC. Visit Gateway 311 Desktop App and you have all of the same features that the mobile app offers. If you have any issues or problems, call us during business hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00 - 5:00) and we can assist you.
How do I get help with the 311 mobile app?
Contact a Citizen Support Specialist by dialing 311 on your mobile phone or 314-615-7311 on either a mobile or landline phone between 8:00 - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. We look forward to assisting you with our new mobile app!
