  6. The purpose for the copies
  7. For birth records, also include father’s name and mother’s maiden name
  8. Self-addressed stamped envelope

Notary Requirements

All requests for birth and death certificates sent by mail MUST be notarized by a notary public in order to be processed.

  • Certified copies of death records.  $13.00 for the first copy
  • Additional copies of the same death certificate ordered at the same time.  $10.00 each.

Marriages | Divorce

St. Louis County has records of marriages and divorces. Marriage records are at the Recorder of Deeds Office. Divorce records are in the Circuit Clerk's Office.  The Circuit Clerk's Office can be reached at 314-615-8029.
