FAMILY COURT ADMINISTRATIVE JUDGE ORDER NO. 149


ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER TO REMOVING FILING CERTIFICATES AND SETTING ASIDE ADMINISTRATIVE JUDGE ORDER NO. 8

 

              WHEREAS, the Family Court of St. Louis County was created by Sections 1 through 14 of House Bill 346 in the 87th General Assembly;

             WHEREAS, the Honorable Thea A. Sherry has been appointed Administrative Judge of the Family Court of St.  Louis County pursuant to Sections 487.010.3 RS.Mo.;

             WHEREAS, a "Family Court Filing Certificate" a/k/a "Family Court Tracking Sheet" (Form No. CCFC03, n/k/a CCFC175) has been created to provide a uniform manner of setting forth such pending or prior litigation;

             WHEREAS, e-Filing has commenced in the Family Court of St. Louis County rendering the "Family Court Filing Certificate" a/k/a "Family Court Tracking Sheet" (Form No. CCFC175) duplicative;

             NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that beginning June 1, 2016 a completed "Family Court Filing Certificate” a/k/a "Family Court Tracking Sheet" (Form No. CCFC175) shall no longer accompany the initial pleading in every action filed before the Family Court of St. Louis County;

             IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that from this date the Circuit Clerk shall accept for filing any initial pleading in any action without a "Family Court Filing Certificate" or "Family  Court Tracking  Sheet"; and

             IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Circuit Clerk provide notice of this change in filing  requirement  by causing this order to be published as soon as practicable in The St. Louis Countian, by posting a copy of this order in a conspicuous place in the officeof the Circuit Clerk, and by making copies of this order available for distribution from the Office of the Circuit Clerk. 

             IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Family Court Administrative Order No. 8 is set aside.

, the Honorable Jason D. Dodson has been appointed to serve as Associate Circuit Judge of the Circuit Court of St. Louis County;
  
             WHEREAS
, the Family Court Division 13 (FC13) docket is currently unassigned;

             WHEREAS
, the Honorable Jason D. Dodson has been assigned to serve as a Judge of the Family Court effective April 27, 2016;

 

              NOW THEREFORE IT IS ORDERED that effective April 27, 2016, the Honorable Jason D. Dodson be assigned to Family Court Division 13 (FC13) docket and that all cases that are not then under submission and all cases assigned to the FC13 docket thereafter be assigned to the Honorable Jason D. Dodson for hearing and determination.
           

              IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Circuit Clerk provide notice of this assignment by causing this order to be published as soon as practicable in The St. Louis Countian, by posting a copy of this order in a conspicuous place in the Office of the Circuit Clerk, and by making copies of this order available for distribution from the Office of the Circuit Clerk.

St. Louis County was awarded a prestigious grant of $150,000 from the MacArthur Foundation last month. Now, St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger is bringing together leaders and experts in justice services to craft a plan to pursue a multi-million dollar grant for justice reform. The MacArthur Foundation is awarding cities up to $10 million as part of the Safety and Justice Challenge

In addition to building a new Family Courts building, KCI Construction, St. Louis County’s general contractor on the project, will perform major upgrades to the existing courthouse and its infrastructure. These improvements will include enhancing security at the facility, as well as rewiring and expanding office space.
