Office of Community Empowerment

Office Goals and Objectives

County Executive Steve Stenger

“Hello, I’m St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger. Welcome to our Office of Community Empowerment.

I created the Office of Community Empowerment to help facilitate citizens’ access to County resources, improve our quality of life and empower residents of St. Louis County.

This new office is charged with marshaling the resources of county government and bringing them to areas of need. Our staff works closely with all county departments, including Public Health, Transportation, and Human Services.

The work of the Office of Community Empowerment has the potential to positively affect our communities, improving health and safety, and stabilizing neighborhoods.

If St. Louis County is to prosper as an attractive place to live and work, it must do so as ONE community, where all residents feel empowered to reach their full potential.”
