The 42,000 square foot recreation center is located inside Jefferson Barracks park. It features an indoor track, fitness area, multipurpose gymnasium, meetings rooms and a child care area. The park offers reservable shelters and picnic areas, historic museums, trails, wedding sites, a cross country course, a disc golf course, an archery range and athletic fields.

Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Indoor Facility:
Monday - Thursday: 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday: Noon - 6 p.m.

Fitness Room & Gymnasium
The fitness area features a wide variety of strength and cardio training equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, free weights, weight benches, BOSU balls and a group training system.

The Bud Schertel MAC is a multi-purpose gymnasium that offers basketball courts, volleyball nets and built-in soccer goals. The gym is also available to rent for events or team practices. Open gym is available each weekday from 3 - 5 p.m. Open gym is also available during other times as space allows when the MAC is not rented.

Group & Individual Personal Training

The Pavilion offers personal training for both groups and individuals. Workouts are customized for each client and their fitness goals. For an appointment, call Erick Hahn, our Certified Personal Trainer, at (314) 498-3518.

Fitness Center Orientation
The Pavilion at Lemay wants you to have an enjoyable, safe and effective workout and utilize the facility to its fullest potential.

One hour fitness orientations are available for those interested in learning how to operate the fitness equipment and to answer any questions you may have regarding the equipment. Cost is free for members, $7 for non-members. For an appointment, call Erick Hahn, our Certified Personal Trainer, at (314) 498-3518. 

Open Gym
Open gym is available each weekday from 3 - 5 p.m. Open gym is also available during other times as space allows when the MAC is not rented.

Open Play Pickleball
Monday - Friday

FREE for Members, and $3 non-member (equipment is provided)

Meeting & Event Room Rental
The Pavilion at Lemay has rental spaces of all shapes and sizes for groups of 10 to several hundred. Stop by to check out the meeting rooms, gymnasium or outdoor balcony.

Family Time:
Guests of all ages can utilize the track together (including strollers).

Free Indoor Walking
Enjoy the track as part of St. Louis County's "Aging in Place" initiative!

Tot Care
Our Tot Care area is available for parents who are working out in the facility. This service is free with an annual membership or $2/child/visit for non-members. There is a limit of 2 hours per visit. Parents must remain in the facility.
Monday - Saturday: 8 a.m. - Noon
Monday - Thursday: 4 - 8 p.m.

How to Enjoy The Pavilion

Take a Tour anytime that the facility is open. After the tour, guests can enjoy a free pass to try out the indoor facility for a day.  Tour passes are not available for the outdoor pool.

Memberships are available for a full year (outdoor pool included for free) or for the outdoor pool only (summer).

Daily Rates are available to drop in and enjoy the facility for the day.  The Pavilion at Lemay is open to EVERYONE, not just residents of a certain area.

Facility Rentals are available for groups from small gatherings to large trivia nights and wedding receptions.  Rooms book 12 months in advance for events like wedding/baby showers, birthday/graduation parties, sports practices and business presentations.

Programs like fitness classes, storytelling, martial arts, learn to play sports and many other options are available throughout the year.

Aquatic Center

Our aquatic center features a deep water pool with slide, diving board, diving platform and climbing wall; lap lanes; a wet deck area, lazy river and a tot area with play structure. There is also a party room, locker rooms and a concession stand.

Admission Fees:
$4.00 per person (4-12)
$5.00 per person (13-64)
$4.00 per person (65+)
Ages 3 years old and younger are free with a paying adult patron age 18 and over.

Children (Ages 4 – 12 years old) $60.00
Adults (Ages 13 – 64 years old)   $75.00
Seniors (Ages 65 and older)         $60.00

Family Pass                  $175.00 
(Maximum of 4 family members living in the same house, also limited to two people 18+)

Pool Rules to Remember!

·        Children 12 & under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18yrs+). Required supervision ratio is 1 adult to no more than 4 children.

·        All flotation devices must be US Coast Guard approved. No water wings or noodles allowed. Puddle Jumpers are recommended.

·        No outside food or drink is allowed. Concessions are available for purchase.

·        No REFUNDS or RAIN CHECKS for inclement weather! Please check the weather forecast before you arrive.

·        Please secure your valuables in a locker (lockers are $0.25 or bring your own lock).

·        You are welcome to bring your own lawn chair.

The Sioux Passage boat ramp is closed indefinitely.
